About Dr. Zheng
Yixiu Zheng, M.D. has been serving patients in the New York metropolitan area since 2011. She studied Psychology, Biochemistry, and Cellular Biology at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and graduated Cum Laude. Upon graduation, she was a molecular biologist at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She studied Internal medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical School and did her residency at Beth Israel Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC.
Dr. Zheng is passionate about total wellness including advanced metabolic health, optimal aging, sexual health, weight loss, and facial/body rejuvenation. She is board-certified in internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine, Aesthetic Medicine, Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM), and Anti-Aging Metabolic Medicine. She completed the FAAMM (Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine) with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). She is also a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
Dr. Zheng has extensive knowledge in the optimal function of the body and the mind. She combines traditional internal medicine and functional medicine to personalize treatments for her patients. Her expertise ranges from weight loss, optimizing hormones, functional and integrative medicine, and aesthetic treatments such as naturally occurring fillers or advanced skin treatment machines.
